Kapolei Business Park PDF Download

Kapolei Business Park was originally designed and developed as a compliment to the heavier industrial businesses located within the adjacent James Campbell Industrial Park (“JCIP’) and the master planned City of Kapolei. Situated on Kalaeloa Boulevard between JCIP and the western reaches of the City of Kapolei, Kapolei Business Park boasts design, services features unavailable in any other business and industrial park on the island of Oahu.

Unique to the region, Kapolei Business Park was developed with the future in mind. The park boasts wide roads, generous landscaping, access to sewer and an underground utility and conduit system that can be used to access the many fiber and satellite providers located minutes away at the Kapolei Teleport, which links businesses to the Central Business District, the mainland U.S. and Asia.

Kapolei Business Park is just minutes away from the Kalaeloa Barbers Point Harbor. Planned infrastructure includes development of a main thoroughfare linking Kapolei Business Park directly with dockside operations. As the second busiest commercial harbor in the state, current harbor operations include barge service to and from the West Coast of the United States, as well as tugboat and dry dock services. Plans for future operations may include direct container shipping in and out of the harbor.

The City of Kapolei and the surrounding region known as the Ewa Plain, which includes Makakilo and the resort area of Ko’Olina, is the most rapidly growing area on the island of Oahu. Population, which is expected to grow at an annual rate of 6%, will hit 173,170 in 2025, with an increase in jobs from 27,000 to 65,000 by 2025. Businesses and services needed to support the rapidly growing community have been moving to the area in unprecedented numbers.

The City of Kapolei was designed as a complete master planned community with the intention of becoming a major urban center rivaling downtown Honolulu. For many, it has become a place to live, work, shop and enjoy recreational activities.

Dubbed as Oahu’s “e-City”, Kapolei is strategically situated at the intersection of technologies in the Pacific. Globally connected by both fiber-optic cabling and satellite transmissions, Kapolei is well positioned to take forward-thinking businesses into the information age.

Over 425 local, regional and national businesses have chosen to make the City of Kapolei their home, with many more following suit. And, the community continues to expand with new residential developments, shopping centers, big box retailers, commercial centers, public services, schools, recreational and cultural facilities.
